The sudden demise of veteran actress Sridevi still has the country in shock. Boney Kapoor with daughters Janhvi and Khushi had recently flown to Chennai to attend a prayer's meet by the Kapoor, Ayyappan & Marwah family.
Now, almost 20 days after the actress' untimely death, Meet Brothers and Green Acres Society held a prayer meet as a tribute to the actress. Boney attended the meet to pay respect to his wife.
Post her demise, Boney penned a heartfelt tribute to her which read, "Losing a friend, wife and mother of your two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family, we have tried to face this unbearable loss."
Sridevi passed away on the night of February 24 in the UAE. The actress was present there with her family to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding. A few days after the wedding, she decided to stay back and on Saturday she passed away due to “accidental drowning”, as per Dubai authorities.
