Along with Shah Rukh, actress Sunny Leone will also get her wax statue inside India’s first Madam Tussauds attraction which opened in Delhi last year. The management at Madam Tussauds is also planning on installing about 10 to 13 new figures over the next two months. Out of 50 wax statues at this museum, 60% are from India. A few other iconic celebrities at the museum are Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Madhubala, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonu Nigam.

An actor-producer, SRK has recently been honoured at the World Economic Forum for his exemplary commitment to improving the state of the world. He has been bestowed with Padma Shree award and has achieved numerous national and international accolades, including 14 Filmfare awards. The second figure has been created to entertain Indian audiences and visitors with a classic appeal that differentiates it from the first figure created at Madame Tussauds attractions globally.

Speaking on the unveiling of SRK’s second figure, Mr. Anshul Jain, General Manager, and Director, Merlin Entertainments India Pvt. Ltd. said, “It was a prestigious choice for us to bring Shah Rukh Khan’s figure to Madame Tussauds Delhi. This is one of the most awaited announcements for his fans, and it will give them an opportunity to have an up-close and personalized photo opportunity.”
