Irrfan starrer 'Blackmail' is anything but love!

We loved Abhinay Deo’s black comedy Delhi Belly and by the look of the trailer for his upcoming film, we are going to trip on the quirky Blackमेल too! The glimpses into this comedy with a difference are definitely tickling the interest, as the blackmail game takes an intense twist with knives, guns and bloodshed in evidence in the new trailer.

It raises an interesting question: What will you do if you catch your wife cheating on you with another man? From what we see of the teaser, we have Irrfan in an all-new avatar, as he runs around bare-chested in his boxers and a paper bag on his head.

Quizzed about the plot, director Abhinay said, “I believe one does not need a designated day to celebrate love. Having said that, LOVE is the last thing on the minds of the characters of my film... So in a way, it’s an ANTI-VALENTINE’S DAY emotion.”

Don’t you just love the sound of that!

Abhinay had recently revealed that his debut, Delhi Belly was an amazing script, and after the massive success of the film, he was looking for a script that would be at par if not better. “And then finally 47 scripts and 6 years later I found the one,” he declared.
Apparently, the moment Deo read the script, he knew that Blackमेल was the film he wanted to make next. The film comes seven years after Delhi Belly, and he is hoping it will be able to emulate its success.

The second poster of Blackमेल had featured Irrfan in a bare-chested avatar with just boxer shorts and a paper bag covering his face, adding to the anticipation of the film.

The film stars Irrfan Khan in the lead along with Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Gajraj Rao.
