Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen in Shree Narayan Singh's Batti Gul Meter Chalu has shared her first look in the film. Shraddha is set to play a small town girl alongside Shahid Kapoor in the film. She tweeted her picture with the caption "Time to be Lalita Nautiyal a.k.a Nauti".

Shraddha seems to have said bye-bye to all the glamour and as she looks stunning in her simple look. Not to forget, the blue streaks are adding on to a lot more character. It will be interesting to watch what this small town but hipster girl brings on screen.

Just a few days back Shahid Kapoor also shared his first look. The duo is currently shooting in Tehri city of Uttarakhand. The film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is helmed by Shree Narayan (of Toilet Ek Prem Katha fame). The film deals with the issue of electricity shortage in the country. The film is social comedy-drama and is set to be shot in Uttarakhand. Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as the leading ladies with Shahid.
This will be her second film with Shahid after the famous 2014 hit, Haider. Another similarity in the two film is, she portrays a small town girl. In most of her other films, she was seen as a regular urban girl-next-door. Shraddha was last seen in Haseena Parker where she played a 45-year-old mafia queen.
