Sanjay Dutt, who made a lukewarm return to Bollywood with Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi last September after years of incarceration at Yerwada Central Jail for his role in the Mumbai serial blasts case, is taking a busman’s holiday this summer in Mauritius. Which means the actor will officially be on holiday, with his family, but he will also be working. And what is Dutt going to be working on while wife Maanayata and children Shahraan and Iqra frolic on the beaches of this lovely island nation? PeepingMoon.com sources reveal that the actor is going to be doing a thriller comedy for his old friends Bittu (Ajay) and Lovel Arora.

The Arora brothers, known to be music video directors, are reportedly making their Bollywood debut as directors with this film. When they approached Dutt to be a part of their film, the soft-hearted actor could not say no. But he decided to club the start-to-finish shooting schedule with a holiday in Mauritius. So, Maanayata and kids are joining him there in April. From what is known, this film promises to be a laugh riot. Dutt will play the lead. The Arora brothers are still working on the rest of the cast. Shooting will commence in April and an announcement about the film is expected to be made soon.
Dutt has just completed shooting for Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3. This drama is the third installment of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s series of films started by Rahul Mitra with Saheb Biwi Aus Gangster 2011. Chitrangada Singh, Mahie Gill and Jimmy Shergill star in the film with Dutt. He is currently shooting for Torbaaz which is helmed by director Girish Malik. It is about children who are trained to be suicide bombers in Afghanistan. Dutt plays the role of an army officer. Nargis Fakhri will be seen in the female lead role opposite him. The film is currently being shot in Kyrgyzstan.
