Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen together in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The director recently announced the release date of the film in the most subtle way. She shared a picture of her lead actors in their look for the film on Instagram and wrote, "14th February 2019 #gullyboy"

The film is based on the famous rapper Divine whose real name is Vivian Fernandez. The music for the film is also provided by him and his famous companion Naezy. Ranveer Singh will be seen portraying Vivian's character in the film. The transformation pictures of Ranveer from being a buff Khilji to a thin Gully Boy made the internet go gaga! Ranveer is already brushing on his rapping skills. Another video of him rapping to verses of Divine also went viral on the internet.
