Deepika's & Shahid's love story among the chaos!

The makers of Padmaavat earlier released two promos back to back. One highlighted the Queen Padmavati's deathly resolve as she addresses the women of her court while the other shows Shahid in all his Rajputi honour and valour.

And now the recent promo gives a glimpse into the love life of the two royals.

The very reason that the film became a controversy is that in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's words, "The controversy is over the fact that the film has a dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji — something that I have already denied even in writing. Now through this video, I am reiterating that in our film, Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji have no such scene together which hurts anyone’s sentiments."

And this promo does stand true to the director's words. The courtship between the two is shown through the two's love for archery. Deepika as Queen Padmavati seems to have accidentally stabbed Shahid Kapoor with her arrow.

Later in the promo, when Shahid asks Deepika for her name, in a sensuous manner while offering her water she says, "Yahan ka patta patta humara naam jaanta hai."

The merry courtship and their marriage is then put into danger as Alauddin Khilji a.k.a. Ranveer Singh rides with his massive army towards Chittor.

Whether the untainted innocence in Padmini’s eyes, the riches of the royal court of Chittorgarh, the battle scenes replete with their own terrible beauty, every moment is invested with so much vividness and grace, not even the occasional film-goer could hope to resist the lure of this magnum opus.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier directed this timeless tale as an opera in Paris and Rome; the first Indian, incidentally, to direct an opera internationally. The applause had been thunderous. It will be a scenario most likely repeated in cinema halls on January 25, as many hordes will break their months of fasting at the box office to stand in line for this stunning cinematic experience.

Let us know what you thought about the all the three promos so far.
