We’re still reeling from Virushka’s wedding and we have another one lined up for you. That’s right! The cards are out! Mark your calendars for the most awaited wedding of 2018! Veere Di Wedding is all set to hit the screens on June 1, 2018.
The release dates of movies so far have all been seeing a delay. With the release of Padmaavat on January 25, a chain reaction of setback in release dates has occurred. Aiyaary has been shifted to February 9, Pari to March 2 and now Veere Di Wedding has been shifted from May 18 to June 1.

We only hope there aren’t any more delays or surprises because we can’t wait to watch to see the fun that enrols! The movie in Sonam Kapoor’s words is, “… the story of four girls who attend my wedding and all the dhamaal that it involves. It showcases women and their emotions. It’s the right time to do this kind of film.” The film aims to portray wedding fun from a women’s perspective and so, promises to be fun and emotional – just like real weddings.
The movie marks the comeback of Kareena Kapoor Khan into Bollywood post becoming a mother and also stars Sonam, Swara Bhaskar, Sumeet Vyas and Shikha Talsania in the lead roles.
Rumor has it that Kareena turned down Anand L Rai’s next with Shah Rukh Khan as she had already locked the dates for Veere Di Wedding. Moreover, she wanted to lose her pregnancy weight before going ahead with the shoot. Previously, Bebo recommended Rhea cast someone ten years younger than her as she didn’t want her friend to lose out when she got pregnant. However, Rhea was adamant on working with Bebo and the shoot of the film was stalled to accommodate the latter’s delivery.
Looks like we'll have to wait till June 1 to see all the drama!
