Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman meets Bollywood’s He-Man Dharmendra

After the enormous success of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ being the second highest grossing movie after Baahubali in 2017, it’s an endless celebratory week for Salman who also celebrated his 52nd birthday on December 27th. The actor who spent his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse made sure to pay a visit to one of his inspirational figures, Dharmendra at their Lonavala farmhouse.

Dharmendra who have a farm in Lonavala and spends most of his time there was touched by the Dabangg Khan’s gesture and took to his social media to share his happiness. He captioned a photo of them saying, “Deeply touched by your surprise visit to the farm today... you will always be a son to me @beingsalmankhan”.

Dharmendra and Salman have famously worked together in the 1998 movie Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya, which also featured Kajol and brother, Arbaaz Khan.

Earlier in an interview, the veteran actor had earlier expressed in an interview that he thinks Salman is the only actor who can play him in his biopic, “I think he (Salman) can do it (biopic). Salman is a darling… He has some habits like me… You all know Salman and his habits well. He has gone on me.”

Dharmendra is currently shooting for the third instalment of Yamla Pagla Dewaana titled ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se’ which will see Dharamji reprise his role but as a lawyer and not a father to sons Bobby and Sunny Deol. Salman will return to shooting for Remo D’Souza’s ‘Race 3’ and later, Ali Abbas Zafar's ‘Bharat’.
