Speaking about the biopic, Amitabh said that a 3 hour movie does not to justice to Balasaheb and the kind of person he was and he wishes there is a web series made on him for his personality is much beyond a film. Nonetheless, he congratulated and wished Sanjay Raut the best for the film and readily agreed to always be there to contribute to the film in any way possible.

The actor shared his personal experiences with the late politician who was like a father-figure to him. He went on to share how he attended every event Balasaheb invited him to.

Amitabh recalled when Balasaheb asked if he could meet Jaya and invited the two to Matoshree. It was the warm welcome that touched the actor's heart.

Amitabh further shared how Balasaheb saved his life. "When I was hurt during the shoot of my film Coolie, I was hospitalized in a critical state in Bangalore. When I was being brought to Mumbai, days weren't good due to monsoon. I did not get an ambulance at that time, due to rain, but Balasaheb's Shiv Sena ambulance was available. If it hadn't been for them, I wouldn't be here."

The late politician was always concerned about Amitabh and constantly checked up on him at times of concern or allegations. The actor always went to Balasaheb for advice.

Amitabh recalled the final moments of Balasaheb stating, "When Balasaheb was on the deathbed, I got an opportunity to meet him. I was there with Uddhav, Aditya and other coordinate. We were only praying for him because we wanted him to live long with us. I never wanted to see him leave us, but it was a tough time to see. I was surprised to see my picture or photo in his room, next to his head. I was stunned and that moment has been captured for life."
