Sorry, Christmas tree, Pri wore the ribbon better!

If we got NYC feels when Priyanka Chopra shared images of her new apartment recently, they are back stronger than ever. The gal has been posting images of the annual Christmas ritual, as she puts up her tree in her sparkling high-rise and indulges in some happy banter with friends. Even as the lights twinkle outside the glass windows, PC stands atop a chair to affix the star at the top of her Christmas tree. Her onscreen BFF, Yasmine Al Massri is very much part of the fun, as she wraps some of the red ribbon used for decorating, around PC’s pretty hair. The ‘Quantico’ stunner captioned it: “Who wore it better…the tree or Pri…?” We have to say, it’s Pri!

“X’mas 2017 – It’s so fun!” she beams, and it sure does look like it. She captions another pic, “Friends like family. This was so much fun to do with you again this year @jazmasri ❤️.”

Last Christmas, she along with her ‘Quantico’ co-stars, Yasmine Al Massri and Johanna Braddy, had celebrated Christmas flaunting customised Quantico-inspired mufflers. Post that, the 35-year-old star, who had had a busy year working for her American TV show and Hollywood debut project Baywatch, had flown back to India to bring in Christmas and New Year with family and friends.

We can’t help but notice how PC is growing even stronger roots in the West, during the course of this year. Besides shooting for the third season of ‘Quantico’, she has two more films coming up – Isn’t It Romantic and A Kid Like Jake. And while she has also got herself a gorgeous new apartment, her bonds with her new friends have also deepened during this time. Take her buddy and co-actor Yasmine; when they are not shooting, the two are invariably chilling together. In fact, many of the lovely pics of PC shared have been shot by her Lebanese gal pal, Yasmine. This year, she had posted the sweetest message on Yasmine’s birthday, “My birthday girl @jazmasri I'm so glad I could make u laugh today. Love u. We have shared so much together and you have witnessed so much of me. I adore you for being in my corner. Happiness always.”

Ever loyal, PC is always in her friends’ corners too. We saw that when she congratulated Meghan Markle on her engagement to Prince Harry, with the message, “Congratulations to my girl @meghanmarkle and Prince Harry!! I'm so happy for you Meg! You deserve the best always.. keep smiling that infectious smile. xoxo.”
