Four films and no time to breathe… the ideal remedy for Hrithik Roshan!

Hallelujah, finally we have Hrithik Roshan give himself - and us all! - a breather from matters private and annoying. The beleaguered star has now evidently decided to put his personal demons to rest and concentrate on his professional commitments. In store, are a slew of film projects – four, to be precise and by the looks of it, he will not have time to breathe… and a good thing that is too!

For starters, there is Super 30, to be directed by Vikas Bahl, which is based on the life of the Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who coaches 30 deserving, economically backward students for free each year, for the IIT entrance examinations – and has a virtually cent-percent success rate. Anand Kumar, the subject of the biopic, has been gushing about how he can totally trust Vikas Bahl with his life story and how Hrithik Roshan is the best choice for the role, given his versatility, acting range and emotional quotient.
Also in the pipeline is the actioner with Yashraj Films, with Tiger Shroff, which was announced on the occasion of the late Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary. The film, to be directed by Siddharth Anand, sees Hrithik return to YRF after 11 years post the block-busting Dhoom:2, and shooting is set to begin in April 2018.

A new film with the Agneepath director Karan Malhotra will follow. Karan has apparently been signed on by Rakesh Roshan’s production company to write a script as well as direct a film with Hrithik in the lead.

And finally there is Krrish 4, which Rakesh Roshan is currently working hard on to arrive at the best possible script. It will be the fourth film in the Krrish franchise and father and son want to deliver a film that is beyond extraordinary.

In between this signing spree, there have been a few that Roshan Jr. has also let go off… There is the ill-fated Shuddhi, which was supposed to be made under Karan Johar’s banner. The project had undergone several casting changes and with things not working out with Hrithik either, it has been temporarily shelved.

Recently, Hrithik also bowed out of Ronnie Screwvala’s kabaddi-based film to be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, claiming that the script needed reworking.
