For his 15th birthday on September 15, Aarav Kumar, the handsome teenager of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, could not have asked for a gift as dazzlingly different as the Paparazzi Proof Jacket presented by his doting father.
Akshay reportedly got the jacket for Aarav from a Spy Store in London. And the actor, who’s got a wicked sense of humour, decided to prank his son and also the Mumbai paparazzi which have started stalking star kids nowadays.

The Paparazzi Proof Jacket’s super reflective material confuses cameras, letting celebrities disappear in a flash when caught in public by snooping paps. The light of the camera bounces off and leaves the wearer’s face invisible!
That’s what happened to Aarav, too. The growing boy, who is at the age when he likes to step out at night to catch a movie with friends, or simply chill out at a suburban nightspot, is used to prying eyes following him.
But Papa was having none of it. When the actor and wife Twinkle took their son and his friends to a Juhu multiplex for a movie the other night, he cleverly made sure Aarav wore his birthday jacket.
The Paparazzi Proof Jacket is also known as the Flashback Photo-bomber Hoodie. When the paps waiting outside PVR Juhu swooped down on the family, Aarav tried to shyly hide behind his dad’s broad back.
But the lens men took their pictures anyway. Capturing Akshay dressed in a tracksuit and beanie as if out for a late night run. And Twinkle looking her gorgeous and bemused self. But where was Aarav?
When they checked their digital cameras, the paps got the shock. Where Aarav ought to have been in the frame with his parents was a glowing ghostly figure with an invisible face! The Paparazzi Proof Jacket had done it job.
We don’t know who was surprised and who was shocked – Aarav or the stalking paps. But from the look on Akshay Kumar’s face as the family drives away, we can see the actor is tickled to death that his prank worked on both!
