The X-factor that makes Ranbir Most Desirable…

“He brings the X-factor to every scene” – this short line by Karan Johar pretty much sums up the magic, the power, the presence of Ranbir Kapoor. Whatever that unnameable quality that this guy possesses, he possesses loads of it!

How else do you explain that Ayan Mukerji, who worked with him in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and in the upcoming Dragon, cannot bring himself to direct any other actor and would prefer not working at all if it’s not with RK!

Imtiaz Ali, who has directed Ranbir in Rockstar and Tamasha, vouches that he could never get tired of working with the actor. “I always expect to do a film with Ranbir!” he candidly admits.

Even after Anurag Basu was slammed by Kapoor Sr. Rishi for being an irresponsible director post Jagga Jasoos, the filmmaker confirms that he would definitely work with RK again.
Filmmakers gush over his effortless acting, his versatility, his yearning to experiment, his discipline, the casual way he carries his stardom, and his calm staunchness in standing by his director’s vision. His quality of not chasing hits, or being part of the frantic rat race, of choosing films that are fulfilling on multiple levels even if they don’t always please the box office, marks him out from the rest of the herd.

It’s this X-factor again that makes him perhaps the most desirable man, whom every B-town beauty feels compelled to catch…but can never quite possess! And even though relationships do fall by the wayside, those who have loved and lost him still remain smitten on a certain level.

Quiet and private in times when every half-thought is being aired in the virtual world, what Ranbir Kapoor has is mystery. It drives everyone insane and it keeps them hooked! Happy birthday, RK. Stay enigmatic!
