Just how will Kangana respond to Pancholis’ defamation notice?

Talk is not free. Sometimes you have to pay for it, as Kangana must prepare to, now that her ex-lover Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab have dispatched a criminal and civil defamation notice to her. Guided by two lawyers, the legal notice has been sent by the actor via speedpost and this could set off a chain of tumultuous events, given that Kangana Ranaut is known to strike back using every weapon in her armoury.

Old wounds had been reopened when, in the pre-release run up to Simran, Kangana gave interviews left, right and centre speaking of the abuse she had endured in her private life. While Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan were predictably slammed, she also hurled brickbats at her ex-lover Aditya Pancholi. Kangana again came out with details about how Aditya, whom she had been embroiled with in an affair-gone-wrong when she was fresh in B-town, had exploited her and placed her under house arrest.

Even as the Roshans maintained a careful silence over her allegations, Aditya had been more vociferous, bluntly calling Kangana ‘mad’ and claiming that he would sue her for her allegations. For wife Zarina, nothing less than an apology will do. “Kangana has crossed all limits,” she says. “Kya zaroorat thi yeh sab baatein karne ki film promotion ke liye? She would have let the past bury itself in the mud instead of flinging mud on people who once mattered to her. She should have let her work speak for her instead of digging up past affairs, thereby compromising not just herself but also several other individuals and families.”
With the Pancholis clearly siding with the Roshans, whom Zarina dubs “such dignified, cultured people,” this would be the first salvo in a battle that will not end any time soon.

We are talking the tenacious Ms. Ranaut here after all – battles just seem to bring out the best in her!
