Kangana won’t be fighting for credit any time soon!

The controversies couldn’t salvage Simran. May we recommend another crash course in scriptwriting for Kangana Ranaut?! The lady had got into a glorious spat with Simran writer Apurva Asrani, fighting over writing credit for the film. Now that the film is over and done with and drowned too, so to speak, rest assured, Ms. Ranaut will not be bringing up the topic of her huge contribution to the script any longer. Our girl is quite the expert when it comes to dusting her hands off a non-starter…and we don’t just mean Adhyayan Suman, tee hee!

Along with scriptwriting studies, may we also recommend a course in the art of controlling one’s runaway tongue? Remember how she went to town pointing out to all and sundry that Rangoon had three heroes – herself included? We applauded her for her spirit. But when the film went belly up at the box office, she swiftly changed colours, blaming the media for putting the entire weight of the failure on her shoulders and not on her co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Maybe that’s just because they were smart enough to keep their lips sealed and stay under the radar?

So yes, weird as it was to have a non-entity cousin of Priyanka Chopra’s dole out advice to Kangana, Meera Chopra did have a point when she said, “Kangana Ranaut I really love you as an actress but your personal life saga is getting too much now! High time you stop and let your movies talk!”

Even die-hard fans of the actress – we count ourselves in those ranks too! – will find our lips twitching as we re-read Shekhar Suman’s infamous tweet… “Itna hungama... itna shor sharaba... nateeja? khoda pahad... nikli chuhiya! All sound and fury signifying nothing… Time to change tack, girl!
