Once Again! Varun Dhawan apologises for his Nepostism Remark at Judwaa 2 trailer launch

Looks like, Varun Dhawan is on an apologising spree these days. At the trailer launch of Judwaa 2 today, the actor was asked to comment on the infamous Nepotism remark controversy at IIFA 2017. Without any further ado, Varun replied, "What I had to say about that issue I have said. We are one fraternity and our job as a fraternity is to entertain people and not hurt anyone. If I have hurt anyone, I apologise."

Back in June, Varun along with Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan took a sly dig at Kangana Ranaut by chanting "Nepotism Rocks" at the IIFA 2017 stage in New York. However, the matter escalated to a controversial debate where Varun, soon after, took to his Twitter page and apologised for his act. He tweeted, "I express my apology and regret .. I am extremely sorry if I have offended or hurt anyone with that act.."

Later Karan rendered his apology to Ms Ranaut in a TV interview with a new channel. Following the suit, Saif penned down an open letter addressing the matter and requested to not drag the controversy any further. But Kangana didn't take any apologies with much enthusiasm and backlashed at the trio.

On the work front, the remake of 1997 Salman Khan starrer blockbuster, Judwaa 2 had an interesting trailer launch where 100 pairs of twins attended the do.

The film, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles, is slated for a September 29, 2017 release. David Dhawan, who directed the first part, is helming the second part of the film as well. Judwaa 2 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
