There is some good news for Sheezan Khan’s friends, family and fans. Maharashtra’s Vasai Sessions Court has granted bail to the actor who was arrested in his co-star Tunisha Sharma’s abetment to suicide case. The court has granted bail to Sheezan on a bail bond of Rs 1 lakh. The actor was arrested after Tunisha died by suicide on the sets of their TV show Alibaba: Dastan-e-Kabul.

Sheezan was arrested for alleged abetment of Tunisha’s suicide late last year and was lodged in jail under judicial custody. He was in a relationship with the 21-year-old actress but had a break-up later.

Tunisha allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself on December 24, 2022, on the sets of a TV serial near Valiv in the district. A video went viral wherein Sheezan can be seen carrying Tunisha’s limp form to the hospital with a crew member of the show.

Sheezan was arrested the next day on a complaint filed by Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma.
