Pakistani actor and singer, Reshma Khan, was allegedly shot dead by her husband in Nowshera Kalan area. As reported by Pakistan's Geo TV, the artist was living with her brother in the city's Hakimabad area. She was the fourth wife of her husband, who allegedly killed Reshma by firing at her multiple times.
The suspect reportedly entered the house and started firing at his wife. He later managed to run away from the crime scene. The reason behind the murder has been deemed as domestic dispute between Reshma and her husband.

The Police has registered the case in the matter and the investigation has reportedly begun.
This is the 15th incident if sever violence against female artists in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year. Earlier, stage actress Sunbum was shot dead on February 3, after she refused the accused's offer of accompanying him to a private party.
Reshma was known for her popular Pashto-language songs. She had also acted in Zhob Goluna, a popular Pakistani drama series.
