Former actress Jheel Mehta, best known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is now working as a makeup artist. She played the role of Sonu, the daughter of Aatmaram Bhide and Madhvi Bhide. On January 2, Jheel was proposed by her beau for marriage.
Jheel shared a video on Instagram and wrote, "Koi mil gaya, mera dil gaya (sic)." In the clip, the former actress' friends blindfolded her and took her to the rooftop where the set-up was ready for the proposal. Jheel's beau did a small dance performance for her and popped the big question. She got emotional.
Jheel acted in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as the first Sonu. She was a part of the show from 2018 to 2012. Reportedly, she took a break from acting to focus on her studies.
