Abbas-Mustan's 3 Monkeys to be Tunisha Sharma's last film

Tunisha Sharma's suicide sent shockwaves across the film fraternity. Known for acting in shows like Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana PratapChakravartin Ashoka SamratInternet Wala Love and Ishq Subhan Allah to name a few, she also starred in films like FitoorBaar Baar DekhoKahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh, and Dabangg 3. The 20-year-old actress was a popular face in the industry and had signed Abbas-Mustan's upcoming film 3 Monkeys

Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla, of the Abbas-Mustan duo, had attended Tunisha's funeral. In his statement to a media agency, the filmmaker expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident. "It is very sad and disappointing news that at such a young age of 20 she took a drastic step without thinking about her mother and others in the family. Today’s generation at certain times don’t think much, but taking such a step is never right," Abbas said.

He further confirmed working with Tunisha in 3 Monkeys. "We worked with her in the movie and we cannot believe, having known her, that she could take such a step," he added. 

When asked about her family accusing Sheezan Khan of abetment to suicide, he shared, "What can her family say? They are going through a tough time. It is not easy for her mother to overcome the pain and we can just pray that God gives the family strength. May her soul rest in peace."

Tunisha died by suicide on December 24 on Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul's set. Her co-star and boyfriend Sheezan is in police custody after the actress' mother filed a complaint against him.
