The most popular and prestigious awards ceremony celebrating and honouring the best in Indian television; Indian Television Academy or ITA Awards 2022 was held on Sunday, March 6 in Mumbai. The awards ceremony was a starry event with several A-list Bollywood stars like Karan Johar, Vaani Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and others attending the event. Rupali Ganguly won the Best Actress Popular for her hit TV show Anupamma and Ashi Singh won it for meet: Badlegi Dunya Ki Reet while Harshad Chopda clinched Best Actor Popular for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Anupamaa was adjudged Best Show.
Harshad Chopda, Nakuul Mehta, Jankee, Surbhi Chandna, Helly Shah, Munmun Dutta, Hina Khan, Rashami Desai, Karanvir Sharma, Ravi Dubey, Gaurav Khanna were a few from the television industry who attended the prestigious event.
