Shaheer Sheikh, on Tuesday, informed his fans that his father has been put on a ventilator after contracting COVID-19. The actor asked his fans to pray for him. Shaheer shared a picture of his father on Twitter. 

The actor wrote, "My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection… pls keep him in your prayers.." Karanvir Sharma replied, "Wishing him a speedy recovery. Please do let me know if you need anything." Hina Khan said, "Patience my friend, I told you, he will come home healthy and happy very soon.. Inshallah." Shaheer's fans and friends sent prayers and good wishes for his father's speedy recovery.
