Television's heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh is now a proud father of a baby girl. The actor welcomed his first child on September 10. The new parents in town kept the news of their daughter's arrival a secret and now, it is finally out. Shaheer announced the birth of his daughter and revealed her name too.
On Instagram, Shaheer shared a picture from his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor's baby shower and wrote, "Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers." The hashtag after the caption revealed the child's name as 'Anaya'.
In an interview, Shaheer had told that he always wanted a daughter. He said, "Being a parent is a big responsibility. It has been my dream to be a dad. I always wanted a girl and told Ruchikaa so, whenever she asked."
Shaheer, an actor, tied the knot with Ruchikaa, the Sr. Vice President Balaji Motion Picture, in court in November 2020.
