Anupamaa actress Madhavi Gogate passes away at 58 due to COVID-19

Another renowned actress lost her life to COVID-19. Renowned actress Madhavi Gogate, who played the role of Rupali Ganguly's mother in the daily soap Anupamaa, breathed her last on Sunday. As per reports, she contracted the virus a few days ago and was seeking treatment. It was being said that she was admitted to a hospital in Andheri after her health deteriorated. 

Rupali mourned the demise of her on-screen mother. Sharing her picture, the actress wrote, "So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji." A fan club dedicated to Anupamaa shared a still of Rupali with Madhavi on Instagram.

Madhavi's friend, actress Nilu Kohli penned a heartfelt note. Madhavi was 58 years old and had done notable work in the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industry.
