Mumtaz to not appear on Dance Deewane 3 after channel refuses to pay the amount she demanded?

Mumtaz, who spends most of her time in London, is in Mumbai at present. The yesteryear actress flew to the city recently and her picture with Dharmendra is going viral. The reunion made many people nostalgic. Now, as Mumtaz is enjoying her visit to Mumbai, the makers of Dance Deewane 3, had reportedly approached her to grace the dance reality show as a special guest.

As per a leading daily's report, Mumtaz, who started her acting career at the age of 11 and reportedly established herself as the highest-paid woman in the late 1960s to the mid-1970s, agreed to appear on Dance Deewane 3, but on one condition. A source close to the show told the daily that the yesteryear actress demanded Rs 40-50 lakhs for her appearance. Reportedly, Dance Deewane 3's broadcaster found it to be 'too much'.

The source told, "Mumtaz quoted somewhere in the range of Rs 40-50 lakh. The channel felt it was too much for them, but think of it, it's their loss. Mumtaz is an extremely popular artiste and above all, it would have been the first time that she would have made an appearance on a show on national television."

On September 27, pictures of Mumtaz and Dharmendra's reunion went viral on the former's fan page on Instagram. The actors have worked together in films like Loafer, Jheel Ke Uss Paar and Mere Humdam Mere Dost.
