Vidyut Jammwal gets emotional as he talks about attending best friend Sidharth Shukla's funeral, says 'mujhe laga ki bhagwan cremate ho rahe hai'

Vidyut Jammwal never knew Sidharth Shukla, 'the heartthrob of millions'. Vidyut was well acquainted with the great son in Sidharth, had seen him pump his muscles in the gym, believed that he was a well-raised 'asli mard' who was nurtured by three strong women and most importantly, he found a doting friend in him who never believed in showing off. Vidyut knew of Sidharth the way nobody else did. While fans lost their idol, the Commando actor lost his biggest cheerleader and best friend.

Sidharth, who passed away on September 2 due to cardiac arrest, left many hearts broken. He breathed his last at the age of 40. Days after Sidharth's demise, Vidyut held a live session to honour him and shared priceless memories with fans. From their first encounter in the gym to meeting him for the final time on July 15, Vidyut opened up about Sidharth like never before and spoke about happy moments with him.

With trembling hands, a shaky voice at times, Vidyut held back his tears and emotions as he fondly remembered his buddy, 'Shukla', whom he was extremely proud of.  Before concluding the live session, the actor talked about attending Sidharth's last rites on September 3 and said, "Mein pahli baar kisi cremation pe gaya hun jaha mujhe laga ki bhagwan cremate ho rahe hai."

Vidyut's tribute to Sidharth left us all in tears. Thanks, Vidyut for introducing us to this side of Sidharth we never knew of.
