Sumona Chakravarti's absence in the first promo of The Kapil Sharma Show left fans worried. Rumours were rife that the actress, who played Bhuri in the show, will no longer be a part of the bi-weekly chat show. Sumona's cryptic notes added fuel to the rumour. However, there is a twist in the tale. Archana Puran Singh has finally put an end to the rumours.
Talking to a news portal, Archana, an important member of The Kapil Sharma Show family, told that Sumona is in the show but will be seen in a completely different avatar. She hinted at a surprise too. "If you think that Sumona is not in the show, then you are going to get a surprise soon. There is Sumona in the show but her avatar will be very different, but we will have the same lovely Sumona," Archana told.

Archana further said that apart from Sudesh Lehri, no new member has joined the team. "At present, only Sudesh Lehri's entry has taken place in the show. The rest of the team is old...The set on the show is new...You will see Kapil Sharma's family extension. You will see a little new background on the set," Archana shared.
Apart from Archana, Kapil Sharma, Sumona and Sudesh, the members of The Kapil Sharma Show are Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar. The first guest of the new season was Akshay Kumar and his BellBottom team. Ajay Devgn recently promoted Bhuj: The Pride Of India on the show too.
