Music composer and singer Palaash Muchhal has forayed into direction. The brother of popular singer Palak Muchhal, Palaash has composed music for films like Bhoothnath Returns and even acted in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. In the month of June, Palaash announced that Rajpal Yadav has been cast for his directorial debut. Now, the title of the film has been revealed.
Palaash's film has been titled Ardh. Joining the cast are popular TV actors Rubina Dilaik and Hiten Tejwani. Rubina, who won the title of Bigg Boss 14 winner, will be making her Bollywood debut with whereas Hiten has done many films in the past, including Kalank. According to Taran Adarsh, Ardh will go on floors in September this year.
Workwise, Rubina returned to her TV show, Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, after Bigg Boss 14. She did multiple music videos, including one with her husband Abhinav Shukla, who also participated in the controversial reality show. Hiten starred in the film titled Nobel Peace. In 2019, he played a prominent role in Karan Johar's film Kalank.
Rajpal will be seen in the upcoming film Hungama 2.
