Udta Teer’s second trailer makes the wait for Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s film even harder

Sometimes, a second trailer can do more than just remind you that a film is coming. It can make you even more curious about what is waiting for you in cinemas. That is exactly what Udta Teer seems to be doing.

After building curiosity with its first trailer, the film returns with a second one that turns up the madness and makes its comic world look even more entertaining. There is more humour, more chaos and a stronger sense of the unpredictable situations that Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan find themselves in. If the first trailer got our attention, this one makes us want to know what happens next.

What works in Udta Teer’s favour is its promise of an entertainer that does not seem to take itself too seriously. Ayushmann has often explored unusual premises, and this film appears to put him in another lively, offbeat setting. Sara adds to the energy, while the ensemble gives the film plenty of room for unexpected comic moments.

The film also features Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Sandeep Anand, Salim Siddiqui, Parul Gulati and Smita Tambe. With such a varied mix of performers, there is plenty of scope for entertaining character dynamics and comic surprises. The second trailer also does something important: it leaves us wanting more instead of simply repeating the first one. That is a good sign for a comedy, where the fun often lies in the situations and surprises audiences discover on the big screen.

Of course, a promising trailer does not automatically guarantee a great film. The real test will be whether the humour stays fresh and the story delivers on this growing excitement. But right now, Udta Teer has given us another reason to look forward to its theatrical release.

Written and directed by Akash A Kaushik, Udta Teer is backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
