Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame actor Karan Mehra is currently battling a legal case against his wife Nisha Rawal after being accused of physical abuse and extramarital affair. On May 31, Karan was arrested for a night after Nisha had filed a complaint against him for domestic violence. The actor had refuted all the claims including his extra-marital affair. Now, amid the legal battle, Karan has wished their son Kavish Mehra on his birthday.
Sharing a photo of his gift and cake, Karan wrote, “Happy Birthday my little Man @kavishmehra ... God Bless you and protect you always … I remember you telling me that you love me a gazillions and me saying I Love You gazillions and gazillions and gazillions……… I am always right here in your heart I will always LOVE YOU”
Karan had earlier voiced his concern about his son’s safety while being with his wife Nisha. Saying that Kavish 'is not safe' with her, he had told, "I feel my son is not safe with Nisha anymore. Earlier I happily decided to let Kavish live with Nisha but now I really don't know. I don't want my child to get affected. I am really worried about him. It's heartbreaking to see whatever is happening."
Nisha and Karan have been married for nine years now. The couple welcomed their first child Kavish on June 15, 2017.
