With the rising Coranavirus cases in the country, our Bollywood and TV celebs are falling victim to the infection. Several of them have tested positive for COVID-19 whereas many of them are taking the newly launched vaccine. Here’s a roundup of how coronavirus has affected TV celebs.

Aditya Narayan and wife Shweta Agarwal test positive for Covid-19  

Aditya Narayan took to social media today to announce that he and his wife Shweta Agarwal have tested positive for Coronavirus. He wrote that they have quarantined themselves and urged everyone to stay safe and cautious in following protocols.

Nisha Aur Uske Cousins fame Mishkat Verma has also tested positive for Covid-19. He took to Instagram to inform his fans about the same and urged them to wear masks. Mishkat Verma shared a picture of himself in a blue shirt and wrote, "Tested COVID Positive a few days back. I have quarantined myself at home. Doing fine. Stay safe (sic)."

Kanchi Singh tests positive for Coronavirus

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Kanchi Singh has contacted Coronavirus. The actress was recently in Bhopal to shoot for her Bollywood debut Shukr-Dosh. She took to her Instagram stories to inform her fans about testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Kanchi also said that she has isolated herself.

Monalisa falls victim to Coronavirus

Monalisa has also tested positive for the virus. Her husband Vikrant Singh Rajpoot gave her health update. Vikrant said, "Yes, Monalisa has tested Covid positive, but she is asymptomatic. She is under home quarantine and receiving medical attention. Monalisa is okay but when people hear about coronavirus, they get hyper. Some people face a lot of problems while some recover fast. At present, Monalisa is fine." The actress was shooting for her show Namak Issk Ka.

After Rupali Ganguly, Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi tests positive for COVID-19

Producer Rajan Shahi has also tested positive for Covid-19 after lead star Rupali Ganguly got infected. In a statement he said, “I have tested positive for Covid-19. I was having symptoms, and this morning the result came positive. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all the safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Please stay safe and take care of yourself and the others around you. These are tough times for all of us, but be optimistic, wear your masks, keep a sanitizer handy and maintain social distancing. Thank you for all your love and support."

Toral Rasputra tests positive for COVID-19, quarantines self at home

After Molki lead actors Amar Upadhyay and Priyal Mahajan, contracted the novel coronavirus, Toral Rasputra whohad recently joined the TV soap has also got infected. In an exclusive conversation with a news channel, Toral said, “Yes, I am Covid positive. I had mild symptoms like cold and cough in the beginning but after taking medications, I feel good. Even though I still have body pain and weakness, I am recovering well. I am under home quarantine now. My family members also got tested but their results were negative. This is very unfortunate that the actors of the show (Molki)  tested positive for coronavirus. I had started shooting only three days back and the show was introducing a new track as well. Since Amar, Priyal and I have got corona, we cannot go for the shoots. The makers are managing without us for now. She further said, “I just hope we test negative soon, and we are able to go back on shoot.”

Karan Jotwani infected

Karan Jotwani has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Taking to social media he informed his fans about contacting the virus and also mentioned how the last two days have been a nightmare for him with high fever, body ache and headache. He shared his photo with a note that read, "Hi. I’ve unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19 with symptoms. Requesting everybody I came in contact with in the last few days to get tested. My symptoms have ranged from high grade fever to body-ache, headache and cough. It’s morally your social responsibility to be honest and vocal about feeling symptoms or untoward in your body, and raise a red flag.. Well, It’s a pandemic. Cases have ranged from asymptotic to symptomatic. I’ve had a nightmare with the last 2 days with these symptoms. I am not trying to scare you, just stating facts about how I felt. The range of the virus is lethal. Stay safe. Mask up. Sanitise. Not quite the positive I wanted to be, but can’t wait to eradicate you god willing soon Covid 19. Take care (sic)."

Ram Kapoor recently took to social media to inform his fans that he got vaccinated for Covid-19. He shared a picture of himself from the hospital. Sharing a picture of himself where he is seen smiling as a nurse gives him a shot of the Covid vaccine. The actor is seen wearing a blue shirt and has a black mask on. Ram captioned his post, "Vaccination done (sic)."

Dilip Joshi and wife take first shot of Covid-19 vaccine

Dilip Joshi, who is known for the portrayal of Jethalal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has taken the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine along with his wife and shared this news on Instagram. Posting the picture, the actor wrote, “Asli mazza ‘JAB’ ke saath aata hai! My wife and I took our first dose of the Covid vaccine. If you qualify or know someone who qualifies, make sure to get vaccinated or help others along the process. Thank you to the staff at Holy Spirit Hospital for an extremely smooth experience #vakkchin #vaccine #vaccinessavelives #NaToCorona #JabToBeatCorona.”
