Producer Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, which features Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles, will go off air this week. The makers of the show will air the last episode on October 17 and the shooting has been wrapped. On the last day of shoot, Rajan penned an emotional note for Shaheer and the actor replied with a sweet message..
Rajan shared a photo with Shaheer and wrote, "LAST DAY SHOOT OF YEH RISHTE HAIN PYAAR KE #MET A TRUE KING SHAHEER SHEIKH # NOT ONLY A BRILLIANT ACTOR BUT ONE OF THE FINEST BEING # THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE DEDICATION HARDWORK HUMILITY AND MOTIVATING THE ENTIRE TEAM OF YRHPK # THANKS U STOOD BY DKP ALWAYS THROUGH ALL TIMES"
Shaheer replied saying, "Sir...I’m humbled & overwhelmed at the kindness and love that you have always bestowed upon me. It’s amazing how you make every cast & crew member feel like they are family. Your encouragement, humility and support all through this journey has left me with some of the most wonderful memories. Nothing is possible without a rock solid team & collective teamwork and I’ve been lucky to have worked with some of the finest people on this show! A big thank you to you & the entire team ... until we meet again Thu thu thu"
Shaheer even shared a series of images from the sets on their last day of shoot.
About the show going off air, Rajan had earlier said, “We will continue to shoot the way we have been — with the same energy and enthusiasm — till we bid adieu to the audience. Those associated with the show have had an enriching and satisfying journey during its course. It was coming together of a great team — be it the actors, crew or technicians. The team had great synergy. ‘YRHPK’ has been all about optimism and positivity. It has enjoyed a good run and we have created some great memories. The show has become a brand and you never know, we might reunite later.”
