Niti Taylor makes her August wedding with Parikshit Bawa official, reveals the decision to tie the knot was taken in a week's time

Niti Taylor, today, gave her fans a pleasant surprise by announcing that she has tied the knot with her long-time beau Parikshit Bawa. Niti is a television actress while Parikshit, whom she dated for two years, is an Army officer. The wedding took place on August 13 this year with both the families in attendance. Interestingly, the wedding and engagement were held on the same day. Niti and Parikshit exchanged nuptial vows at a Gurudwara in Gurgaon.

Talking about the hush-hush wedding, Niti told a leading daily that the ceremony was planned for October but due to the pandemic, they decided to get married at the earliest. She promised that once the situation improves, the couple will plan a proper celebration. "We were planning to get married at the end of October. However, owing to the COVID-19 situation and understanding that it won’t improve drastically, we decided to advance the wedding and exchange nuptial vows on our engagement date. It wasn’t, of course, the best way since both our sisters couldn’t join us for the wedding, but we do plan to celebrate with everyone when the situation improves," the actress told.

The decision to tie the knot on August 13 was taken on August 6, which gave me just a week to prepare for my big day. We had our extended families and friends participate in the do, virtually," Niti added.

While talking about her honeymoon, Niti quipped, "That will happen once things become normal again and after we celebrate with our family and friends. For now, it’s more of a fun-moon."
