Veteran television actress Nishi Singh Bhadli has been battling serious health issues in the past 1 year. The actress seen in shows like Ishqbaaz, Qubool Hai, Hitler Didi and many others, suffered twin paralysis attacks between February 2019 and August 2020. Talking about the issues and her battle, Nishi's husband Sanjay Singh Bhadli told a leading daily that she suffered a paralytic stroke on the left side of her body around Raksha Bandhan this year. He also revealed that in February 2019, she collapsed at home and was taken to the hospital where she failed to recognise anyone. Back then, she was recovering well soon after she was brought home.
"In February 2019, she collapsed in the house. She was immediately hospitalised and for seven-eight days, she even failed to recognise anyone. We eventually brought her back home. She was getting better, but around Raksha Bandhan this year, she again suffered a paralytic stroke on the left side of her body. There is sensation, but it’s as good as nothing as she needs assistance for everything," Sanjay told.
Nishi and Sanjay have two children. Their 19-year-old-son is with his maternal grandparents in Delhi while their 16-year-old daughter is in Mumbai. Sanjay, an actor-writer, has dedicated his time to take care of Nishi and is running out of money. Making an appeal for monetary assistance, he added, "Though Nishi is doing better, we still need money for her medical and other expenses. We have dried up all our savings in the past two years. Jo tha sab chala gaya. I have even mortgaged our flat, as we were in dire need of money. We cannot fall back on our families, as hers isn’t financially sound and mine had disowned me when I decided to join showbiz. We have been struggling and need help."
