Rajashree Thakur is all set to make a comeback with Manav Gohil after five years with Star Plus’ new show Shaadi Mubarak. The show’s promo was released today by the channel on its official social media account.
The show centers around two co-workers of a marriage hall who are extremely different from each other in their personality and temperament. The promo reminds us of Anushka Sharma’s and Ranveer Singh’s Band Baaja Baraat but the story revolves around the two individuals who are bound by their destinies, yet are in stark contrast to each other.

The promo shows Rajshree as a methodical and disciplined woman while Manav plays the happy-go-lucky absent minded man. Rajshree is seen in a saree which gives the indication that her character will be a simple woman rooted in values and culture while Manav is forgetful by nature.
Shaadi Mubarak is produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show premieres on August 24 on Star Plus at 7:30 pm.
