Here’s the sad news for all the fans of Deepika Singh. Apparently, her comeback show Kawach 2 will be going off-air in the mid of November 2019. Unfortunately, the show failed to impress the audience in spite of bringing several changes in the storyline. Obviously, the channel had no choice but to shut down the show.
A close source informed, “The makers tried their best to keep the audience entertain by changing the plot every now and then. However, it did not help in bringing numbers on the TRP chart. Initially, the plan was to telecast the last episode in the first week of December 2019 and the actors were supposed to shoot till the last week of November. However, the continuous drop of numbers led to an immediate decision. The team shot their last episode on October 22. The show will go off-air on November 20.”
Apart from Deepika, the show also starred Namik Paul in a pivotal role. It premiered its first episode on May 25, 2019.
Reportedly, Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4 starring Nia Sharma and Krystle Dsouza in lead roles will be replacing the show. However, the final announcement on the same is still awaited.
