Popular TV actor Madhu Prakash’s wife Bharati has committed suicide at their residence in Hyderabad. Reportedly, Madhu, found Bharati hanging from the ceiling fan of their room when he returned home at 7:30 pm on Tuesday (August 6) evening. According to the police officer, the actor was having an illegal affair with his co-star and was also harassing his wife for dowry.
"We found out that, Madhu was having an illegal affair with a co-worker and his wife found out about it. He was also harassing his wife for dowry. Madhu came back home at around 7.30 pm after shooting and found her hanging. No suicide note was found in the house," Raidurgam inspector, S Ravinder said in a statement.
Post the incident, Madhu has been taken into custody. Bharathi's body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.
On the work front, Madhu is currently seen playing Rudra in the daily soap Kumkum Puvvu and has worked in the SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film Baahubali.
