Barun Sobti and Pashmeen Manchanda give their newborn baby girl a unique name, call her ‘Sifat’

Actor Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda became parents to a baby girl on June 28. The couple has named their little girl, Sifat. Recently, while talking to a leading newspaper, Barun got candid about his newborn baby girl and her name.

“We have named our daughter Sifat, which means praise. I can’t describe my happiness in words. Like all parents, we just wanted our baby to be healthy. Pashmeen and I had secretly hoped for a girl,” Barun Sobti said in a statement.

About parenting and changing diapers and sleepless nights, the actor revealed that he and his wife have planned everything and they are pretty sorted in that matter. Apparently, Barun met his lady love in school. The duo got married on December 12, 2010, in a Gurudwara. The wedding was a low-key affair and was restricted to only a few family members and close friends. The couple is embracing parenthood after almost eight years of their marriage.

On the work front, Barun debuted on TV in 2009 with serial Shraddha. Later on, he did shows like Dill Mill Gayye and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. However; it was Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, where he played the role of Arnav Singh Raizada, that made him quite popular. He has also ventured in Bollywood and has done films like Main Aur Mr Riight, Tu Hai Mera Sunday and 22 yards.
