International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June every year for the last five years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the proposal of ‘Yoga Day’ during his speech on September 27, 2014 in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Since then, the interest of people around the world has been increasing for yoga.
Our television actresses also do yoga regularly to stay fit and calm. They don’t just do yoga but also believe in it whole heartedly.

Aashka Goradia: Naagin fame Aashka Goradia and his husband Brent Globe practices yoga on a regular basis. Talking about her love for yoga, Aashka said, “To be honest, I am not much in gymming or cardio-workout. But yes, I make sure to do yoga for at least 75 minutes a day. This has really helped me to stay fit physically as well as mentally.”
Aashka is a yoga lover and loves flaunting her kickass abs on her social media page. She looks stunning because she works on it daily without fail.
Deepika Singh: Deepika practices yoga to keep herself fit and healthy. The actress strongly feels that yoga helps her to cope with her hectic shooting life. The actress said, “Yoga is a part of my life. It helps me more than workouts. The stress levels also go down, lending a glow to the face. I personally practice yoga every day for an hour. It's a way of life that allows you to discipline your mind."
Saumya Tandon: Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai fame Saumya Tandon has been practicing yoga for the past 7-8 years. The pretty lady does yoga to ensure her mental and physical health is in great shape too. The actress loves doing aerial yoga and has been seen doing various extremely difficult poses.
Kavita Kaushik: Kavita has as a body to die for there is no denying that at all. While the actress does hit the gym, she believes whole-heartedly in practicing yoga and tries not to miss a single day of doing her 108 Surya Namaskars each day. No matter, how busy her schedule is, the actress makes sure to do yoga daily.
Rubina Dilaik: Rubina maintains her fitness by practicing yoga on a regular basis. The actress said, “I started doing yoga many years back; however initially I used to feel bit boring, but gradually I started liking yogasans and then made it a daily habit. It has not only helped me in staying physically fit but also helped me in staying calm and stress-free. Now, yoga has become an integral part of my life.”
