It's time for celebration as the comic reality series The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 completed 50 episodes. The second season, like the first, managed to charm the audience with their hilarious gags and quirky chit chat with Bollywood celebrities. The show hosted by comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma garnered 6 million impressions last week and continues to climb up the TRP chart every week. The first episode of the second season was aired on December 29, 2018.
The celebration was called on Sunday evening with the team of the show- Archana Puran Singh, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Kapil himself were present with the off-screen crew members. The ladies of the team, Archana and Bharti cut a cake to mark the occasion. The pictures from the bash were shared by Kapil's fan clubs on Instagram. Take a look at them here:
The Kapil Sharma Show Season 1 ended on an abrupt note after Sunil Grover aka Dr. Mashoor Gulati left the show due to an argument with Kapil. Post Sunil, the rest of the cast, Sanket Bhonsale, Sugandha Mishra and Ali Asgar also called it quits with Kapil. Later, reports of Kapil not attending pre-planned shoots surfaced across media. Although problems didn't end for Kapil this season too as Navjot Singh Sidhu, a member of the show had to make an exit over his comment on the Pulwama terror attacks. Archana replaced him soon after.
