TV actress Sargun Mehta finds web scene in India slightly overrated; here’s why!

Actress Sargun Mehta, who has been part of many TV shows and Punjabi films recently opened up about her view on digital platform and its content. The actress said that she is not comfortable doing kissing or nude scenes on the web because they tend to look forced otherwise.

Explaining her opinion, Sargun said how for people in the West, seeing their parents kiss each other on the lips while saying goodbye is a part of their culture but she can't see such a scene with her father and that's how it has been. She added saying she can always make exceptions if there is a need and that it depends on the script. She further explained how she can't be someone else just for the sake of the narrative.

While explaining, the actress also added that she finds the web scene in India slightly overrated, but she enjoys watching authentic Indian shows. She appreciated shows likes Mirzapur and Ghoul.

On the work front, Sargun has been part of shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Phulwa, Balika Vadhu, Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, Nach Baliye 7, The Drama Company and many more. She has done more than 6 Punjabi movies including Angrej, Love Punjab, Jindua, Lahoriye, Qismat and Kala Shah Kala.
