TV actor Himanshu Malhotra bags Dharma Production’s ‘Shershaah’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani

Television actor Himanshu Malhotra, who has been part of several TV shows including Shubh Kadam, Love Marriage v/s Arrange Marriage, Encounter, Nach Baliye 7 etc is all set to make his Bollywood comeback. The actor has been signed to play a pivotal character in Dharma Productions’ upcoming film Shershaah.

Himanshu announced being a part of the film by sharing a post on Instagram stating, ‘Embarking a new journey’.

When contacted Himanshu to get more information on his role in the film, he refused to comment saying, “Sorry, I am not allowed to speak on this.”

Shershaah is an inspiring story of Kargil hero and Param Vir Chakra recipient Captain Vikram Batra, an Indian Army officer, who was martyred in the Kargil War at the age of 24. The film will feature Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.  It will also mark the debut of Vishnu Vardhan, who is known for directing several Tamil and Telugu hits. It is scheduled to release in 2020.

Last year, Himanshu's wife Amruta Khanvilkar was also part of Dharma's hit film, Raazi alongside Alia Bhatt.
