With just three weeks in the show, the third edition of live singing reality show Rising Star 3 has already struck a chord with the viewers with soulful voices from all across the nation.
In the recent episode, the power-packed cast of Kalank- Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur graced the stage with their presence. The episode was themed on love and it commenced with Aditya Narayan and Neeti Mohan introducing the cast with the First Class song. Taking the entertainment level, a notch higher were the B-town best friends Aditya Roy Kapur and Varun Dhawan who did a Naagin dance on the tunes of Konkan Kanya band.
Their performance was followed by Aditya and Sonakshi rapping and then Alia putting her singing talent on display. Known to have sung a few of her own movie songs, Alia was a sport to come up on stage and learn the classical number from Kalank ‘Ghar more Pardesiya’ from contestant Ananya Pandya. Alia was left spellbound with her rendition and touched Ananya’s feet out of respect.
The cast of Kalank also engaged into a fun game session with the expert panel consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Neeti Mohan, where the host gave them a word and they had to sing a relay of songs with the same word as the part of the song. The team who run out of songs lost the game but surprisingly both the teams won one point each and leading it to a tie. The episode ended with Kalank casts romantic performance on the title track of Kalank.
