Here’s why Sumedh Mudgalkar turned into a woman in mythological serial 'RadhaKrishn'

Storyteller Siddharth Kumar Tewary's mythological love story RadhaKrishn went on to become the greatest love story to be told on television, apart from being a musical with 20 original Ras Leela compositions. The show is not onlydoing extremely well on the TRP charts but has maintained a consistent position in the top 5 shows on Indian television.

The show introduced fresh faces to play the young Radha and Krishna and newbies Mallika Singh and Marathi actor Sumedh Mudgalkar respectively struck a chord with the viewers and their onscreen chemistry is palpable.

What's more, Sumedh will be seen in an altogether different avatar on the show soon as he will turn into a woman. In fact, we got our hands on a few photos of him dressed as a woman and he looks pretty unrecognizable. Check it out:

Interestingly, a source close to the show shared another development about the show and it has certainly left us intrigued. "The show progresses towards Radha's Krodh chapter. She confides in her father and tells him that she hates Krishna and will marry whichever boy her family chooses for her. Krishna and Balram will crash the wedding albeit dressed as women. Towards the end everyone will eventually realize that Radha was actually marrying a demon. Radha will realize why Krishna did what he was doing," it added.
