Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee With Karan Season 6 had its grand premiere with Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone gracing the sizzling couch and revealing quite a bit. Apart from them, the filmmaker has managed to rope in several interesting and unusual pairs to share a cuppa with him. And now we hear that two of KJo's closest friends, Abhishek Bachchan and his sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda, will appear on the show together.
A leading daily quoted a source as saying, "The three of them are thick buddies and it was KJo’s idea to bring them on the show. We can expect several childhood secrets spilling out as the siblings know a lot of things about the multi-talented filmmaker, which not many in the industry are aware of." Reportedly, the show will feature both AB Jr, Shweta and Karan sharing their fondest memories with each other as kids.
Meanwhile, Shweta apparently agreed to make an appearance on the show only because of Karan. Although she has previously come on KWK with dad Amitabh Bachchan, Shweta once again could not refuse her close friend. It is believed that Abhishek and Shweta will shoot for the episode next month.
For the unversed, Janhvi Kapoor-Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan-Sara Ali Khan, Ranveer Singh-Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan, have shot for their episodes so far. Apart from them, Diljit Dosanjh-Badshah and Vicky Kaushal-Ayushmann Khurrana will also sip Koffee with Karan in the latest season.
