Actor Shaheer Sheikh who was last seen in serial Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke will be soon seen portraying the character of Emperor Salim in the upcoming historical show Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali. Actress Sonarika Bhadoria has been roped in to play the iconic character of Anarkali in the new magnum opus.
The first look of both the actors is out and the two are looking stunning in their royal and classy avatar. The promo shows both Shaheer and Sonarika decked up as Salim and Anarkali respectively set in the backdrop of the Mughal era.

The show promises to narrate the biggest tale of love and rebellion of Prince Salim and courtesan Anarkali of the Mughal era.

Apart from Shaheer and Sonarika, other actors who have been roped in are Uzair Bashar and Naisha Khanna who will play the younger Salim and Anarkali respectively in the show. Shahbaz Khan is playing the role of Emperor Akbar while Gurdeep Kohli will essay the role of Jodha Bai in the show. Nivedita Bhattacharya, Aruna Irani and Piyush Sahdev will play pivotal roles in the historical show.
Dastaan - E - Mohabbat Salim Anarkali will replace serial Udaan from October 1, 2018, on Colors TV.
