A very ecstatic Ekta Kapoor announced a sequel to her super-hit television drama, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, that will be returning on Star Plus very soon, via her Instagram. The producer released a teaser clip, revealing actress Erica Fernandes in the lead. Rumours suggest that Parth Samthaan has been locked as the male lead, after much discussion and debate.
Ekta posted this clip, portraying the magic of eternal love that the characters, Prerna and Anurag, played by Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan, respectively once created on-screen. The background music is the same theme song from the previous instalment of the drama series, giving us major feels and extreme nostalgia.
The video is engaging, but revealing not so much at the same time. The teaser reveals Erica but clarity on the lead actor is yet to be received.
The show is marking its return on televison after 10 long years. The audiences have been thirsty for any information about the series since it first started creating the buzz. The original KZK was the story of a madly-in-love couple, Anurag and Prerna and their struggles with life to stay together.
The show successfully ruled the small screen with 1400+ episodes when its first episode was telecast in 2001.
Well, as promising as it looks, we can't wait to see what comes next!
