Salman Khan and Sunil Grover together will be a riot on Dus Ka Dum 3

Fans of the corny Dr. Mashoor Gulati have reason to cheer. Nearly a year since ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ went off air viewers can experience his madness yet again when he reappears, this time on ‘Dus Ka Dum’. Yes, the popular and gifted Sunil Grover, who brought this and other characters to life on the comedy show, will appear in a special episode of the Salman Khan-hosted gameshow, ‘Dus Ka Dum’. His fellow guest will be singer Neha Kakkar.

Sharing highlights of the experience, Sunil shared that they made a parody of the song ‘Chaand chhupa badal mein…’ from the Salman-Aishwarya hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. “I would add one line to the song, so would he… it turned out quite beautifully. He was in a fun mood, and I lost track of whether I was winning or losing the game. It was just so much fun,” raves Sunil.

He also reveals that Salman is a fun-loving guy to work with and doesn’t make others feel that he is a star. “Usually, there is a lot of pressure to deliver but Salman made it easy for everyone on the sets. I’m looking forward to working with him in Bharat now, we are expected to roll by July end.”

For Sunil, it was nostalgia time as he slipped into the silly shoes of Dr. Gulati again. He found it endearing because the character has a certain innocence about him, he says. “When I was playing him, I’d sometimes find it difficult to believe it was me. It was nice meeting Dr. Gulati after such a long gap,” Sunil smiled.

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ had crashed soon after the fracas that had broken out between Kapil and Sunil during a flight. Soon after this happened in February 2017, Sunil had walked out of the show. The show hasn’t been revived since.

However, it has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Sunil. He has now moved on to films, with two big productions — Bharat and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan in his kitty, which will start its last schedule soon.
