Actor cum comedian Kiku Sharda has never refrained from staying away from coming out in open and talking about various controversies revolving around him.
Last year, Kiku not just got involved in a sort of scandal but was also jailed after he mimicked the fake self-provided godman Ram Rahim Singh on The Kapil Sharma Show. The followers of the baba were deeply hurt and that led to his arrest.
Now that Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been sentenced to an imprisonment for 20 years after being charged with rape, talking about the same, Kiku Sharda told a media agency, "Well, things have been proven in the court and now we all know what he did. Justice happened and it was bound to happen, it's karma. But whatever violence took place (following Ram Rahim's conviction) was really sad. We shouldn't have room for violence, we are peace-loving people, and we should stay in peace."

That's not all. Recently Kiku and actress Twinkle Khanna took a dig at the godman on Twitter and bonded over the common joke. Kiku tweeted a picture of himself "enjoying a peaceful Chinese meal with no monosodium glutamate" and tagged Twinkle. To this, Mrs. Funnybones replied, "And life moves on with its tongue firmly in its cheek."
